As part of a network of Authorized YesLaw Representatives, we can convert your videotaped depositions onto YesLaw CDs. Just request YesLaw CDs on your next deposition. What additional software is required to utilize Yeslaw? Nothing at all. Each CD will contain the YesLaw software. Since the software launches automatically, there is nothing to install or run. YesLaw software requires Windows 98, ME, 2000, or XP. How does it integrate with other software programs? YesLaw integrates seamlessly with Sanction, Summation, and Binder. In addition, the clips made in YesLaw can be easily exported into Sanction, Summation and PowerPoint. How much does the YesLaw service cost? The pricing is comprised of two costs: One is the video encoding process; the other is synchronizing the transcript with the video. Pricing is determined by the length of the video. How can I create clips? Can I redact testimony? One of the main features of YesLaw is very easy creation of clips. The search tool makes it easy to find specific portions of text. Once you’ve found the right sections, just highlight those lines in the transcript and hit the “Make Clip” button. The reverse it true for redacting testimony—you’ll use the highlighter too to deselect any unwanted portions. If you can use a highlighter, you can edit video. Back
